AIMS for Anger Management
Best for: Men who want a structured, no-cost anger-tracking tool and don't mind that it was designed with veterans in mind first.
What is AIMS for Anger Management?
AIMS comes out of the VA's National Center for PTSD and mirrors their Anger and Irritability Management Skills course, but it's not gated to veterans — anyone can download it. You get a personalized anger-control plan, tools you can load with your own photos, songs, or contacts, and a symptom tracker that shows your patterns over time. It works standalone or alongside therapy, and it links straight out to the Veterans Crisis Line and 911 if things escalate. The catch: it's a self-care tool, not treatment, and it doesn't sync with the web version of the course, so pick one and stick with it. No subscription pitch, just a government-built toolkit that happens to be free for everyone.
