Oxa

Best for: Men who want objective biofeedback on stress and sleep from a wearable sensor, and are okay with a device whose maker has already sunset it.

What is Oxa?

Oxa pairs a chest-worn sensor with an app that reads breathing and heart rate in real time, then walks you through biofeedback-guided breathing sessions for burnout, anxiety, and bad sleep. The pitch is precision over a fitness tracker — it reads respiration alongside heart rate, and exercises adjust as you go instead of playing a fixed audio track. The real catch: Oxa was acquired by Myant in 2024, the consumer line has been wound down, and support for existing devices runs only until October 30, 2026. Fine to try short-term, a bad bet for something you'll still use in two years. No price is listed, and the company says plainly it's not a medical device.
